NEW STONE EQUIPMENT:
All Used Stone Equipment is now your one-stop shop for both pre-owned and brand-new equipment. In addition to our extensive selection of reliable used machinery, we’re proud to offer a range of cutting-edge new equipment to meet the evolving needs of the stone fabrication industry. Whether you’re looking for cost-effective pre-owned solutions or the latest in fabrication technology, we’ve got you covered.
The Robo SawJet was the first robotic-based stone-cutting saw introduced to the industry. Today, BACA Systems has over 650 robots in operation across stone fabrication shops throughout North America.
High Reliability & Minimal Maintenance
At the core of the Robo SawJet 2.0 is the durable, foundry-grade KUKA KR 210 robot, powered by a robust 26HP saw motor and a 50HP H20 waterjet. KUKA robots are renowned for their exceptional reliability and precision, making them the preferred choice for demanding industries such as automotive manufacturing and aerospace. Unlike custom-built gantry machines, robots require far less maintenance. Annual upkeep typically involves greasing two zerk fittings, with an oil change recommended every 10,000 hours of operation or after five years—whichever comes first. The waterjet maintenance for the Robo SawJet is designed for ease, with the waterjet lines conveniently located on the robot’s exterior, eliminating the need to access them through traditional cat tracks as found in some competing models. This user-centric design is further enhanced by BACA’s Waterjet Made Easy exchange program.
Increase Material Yield By 10-20%
The waterjet functionality eliminates blade overtravel, allowing countertop parts to be nested more closely together. This Tetris-like cutting method maximizes slab utilization, ensuring you get the most parts out of each bundle. By removing blade overtravel, you can fabricate more parts from a single slab. In cases where a small part is needed but doesn’t fit in the original slab(s), the waterjet reduces the need to purchase additional slabs for the same project.
Reduce Labor By 3-4 Hours (Per Slab)
The Robo SawJet combines a powerful 26HP saw motor with a 50HP H2O waterjet, making it ideal for cutting the most complex countertop parts with exceptional precision. By utilizing the waterjet to handle intricate shapes like sinks, arcs, and radii, it significantly reduces downstream labor and can boost CNC router productivity by up to 30%.
Increase CNC Router Output By 30%
Fabricators using CNC Routers can boost output by up to 30% per machine by pre-shaping non-linear cuts, such as sinks, arcs, and radii, on the SawJet with its waterjet. This allows the CNC Router to focus solely on edging and polishing, optimizing its performance. The advantage becomes even more pronounced with a dual-table SawJet, which can feed up to three CNC Routers, making output optimization essential. Given that the combined cost of a SawJet and a fully equipped CNC Router is comparable, this approach offers significant value. Additionally, by removing the side-load typically placed on the CNC Router during countertop shaping, this method helps extend the spindle’s lifespan—offering considerable cost savings, especially given the high cost of CNC Router spindles.
Upgradeability To Dual Table
The Robo SawJet offers the flexibility to upgrade from a single table to a dual-table setup, potentially increasing output by up to 100% and effectively doubling production capacity. This design enables you to load and unload the second table while the first one is in operation, minimizing downtime. Investing in a scalable solution like the Robo SawJet helps safeguard your investment as your business grows. Unlike competitive bridge-based gantry machines, the Robo SawJet allows for seamless expansion without the need to sell or replace equipment, providing a more cost-effective and efficient path for your business’s growth.
Smallest Footprint
Building on the success of its predecessor, the Robo SawJet 1.0, the Robo SawJet 2.0 continues to offer a compact footprint, smaller than that of many bridge-based models. This space-saving design is especially valuable in today’s environment of limited shop space and rising real estate costs.
3 Sides Of Access
The Robo SawJet 2.0 boasts low-profile tanks that are accessible from three sides, offering a significant advantage over bridge-style competitors that limit front access. This thoughtful design allows operators to easily reach all parts of the table without the need to climb onto it. Additionally, fabricators can conveniently slide pieces directly off the table and onto a cart with wheels for easy handling and transport.
