The Robo SawJet was the first robotic-based stone-cutting saw introduced to the industry. Today, BACA Systems has over 650 robots in operation across stone fabrication shops throughout North America.
High Reliability & Minimal Maintenance
At the core of the Robo SawJet 2.0 is the durable, foundry-grade KUKA KR 210 robot, powered by a robust 26HP saw motor and a 50HP H20 waterjet. KUKA robots are renowned for their exceptional reliability and precision, making them the preferred choice for demanding industries such as automotive manufacturing and aerospace. Unlike custom-built gantry machines, robots require far less maintenance. Annual upkeep typically involves greasing two zerk fittings, with an oil change recommended every 10,000 hours of operation or after five years—whichever comes first. The waterjet maintenance for the Robo SawJet is designed for ease, with the waterjet lines conveniently located on the robot’s exterior, eliminating the need to access them through traditional cat tracks as found in some competing models. This user-centric design is further enhanced by BACA’s Waterjet Made Easy exchange program.
Smallest Footprint
Building on the success of its predecessor, the Robo SawJet 1.0, the Robo SawJet 2.0 continues to offer a compact footprint, smaller than that of many bridge-based models. This space-saving design is especially valuable in today’s environment of limited shop space and rising real estate costs.
3 Sides Of Access
The Robo SawJet 2.0 boasts low-profile tanks that are accessible from three sides, offering a significant advantage over bridge-style competitors that limit front access. This thoughtful design allows operators to easily reach all parts of the table without the need to climb onto it. Additionally, fabricators can conveniently slide pieces directly off the table and onto a cart with wheels for easy handling and transport.
