Vertical Edge Polisher
Straight 8
The Straight 8 is engineered to edge, polish, and chamfer backsplashes and countertops in a single pass. Operating in continuous mode, it allows pieces to be loaded one after another, seamlessly moving past eight polishing motors. This process delivers a fully finished product, complete with optional top and bottom micro-bevels. The machine’s name comes from its eight powerful polishing motors, ensuring efficiency and precision with every run.
1-pass Polish
- Effortlessly process backsplashes, countertops, and vanities in a single pass, reaching feed rates of up to 87 IPM on 3CM materials and 100 IPM on 2CM materials for maximum efficiency.
10 Polishing heads (8+2)
- With a configuration of 10 spindle positions—8 dedicated to polishing and 2 for chamfering—the Straight 8 delivers the highest-quality polish in the industry.
Slab Rack Support System
- The Slab Rack Support System is designed with safety as the top priority. This durable system provides additional support for larger countertops as they move through the Straight 8 machine. The recommended maximum workpiece size is 96”, with a 120” space required for optimal slab rack accommodation.
Adjustable Spindle Engagement
- Spindle Engagement gives operators the flexibility to control the precise point where tools make contact with the material. This feature is especially useful for tasks like Butt Seams, where full side polishing isn’t required.
